Parallel Parking (Version 1)
From a parked position behind the lead car, move alongside vehicle, until your mirror passes the front of the car, keeping approx an arms length away, then secure the car.
From a parked position behind the lead vehicle, move alongside the vehicle, until your left mirror is just past the front of car, ensuring your vehicle is parallel, and approx an arms length away. Then, secure the car.
Carry out P.O.M routine, whilst looking at the left mirror, reverse to the first refernce point, which is the mirror of your vehicle, approx half length of the lead vehicle.
Carry out P.O.M routine again, whilst
moving at a very slow speed (approx 0.5mph) turn the steering wheel left 1.5 revolutions (full lock) carry out 2nd P.O.M routine in this phase, then continue to check around every 3 to 5 seconds until you reach the 2nd refernce point.
You will see the 2nd reference point in the left mirror, where the kerb is approx halfway between the 2 door handles. Whilst slowly starting to move back, turn the steering to the right, full lock.
Looking at the rear window, wait until your vehicle is nearly straight. (check left mirror to see if close to kerb) Once nearly straight, turn steering wheel to the left 1.5 revolutions (approx 2 turns) reverse back a short distance, until you can see tyres of the lead car.
